Local Residential Phone Service

Residential customers may now use an alternate local local phone company.
Competition lowers the cost of making a phone call not only for those calls across the country, but for those across the back fence. PowerNet Global's Call to Connect allows residential customers to place unlimited local calls and have up to two hours of included long distance calling throughout the continental U.S..

Power Net Global's residential local calling service is currently available in California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Local service is only available if your local carrier is currently Bell South, SBC, or Verizon and not every number currently billed by these companies can be switched to PNG's local service. Local service is not available if the line is used for DSL or other high speed data service.

Depending on the plan selected, up to 120 minutes/month of continental long distance are included in the monthly rate, if PNG Local Toll and Long Distance are also selected. The same Custom Calling Features currently available from your local carrier are included in the residential package or can be purchased for an additional monthly charge.
