How to pay your PNG bill

The standard procedure is for you to receive a monthly printed bill from PowerNet Global. Protel is an agent for PowerNet Global. These bills are detailed, giving information on number of calls made, the destination, length of each call, sorted by project code if elected, etc. as well as detailed breakdown of the taxes and fees imposed by the Federal, State and local governments on your service.

Internet Access to PNG Account Information

With the new convenience of online bill paying and account information and our low, low prices, you owe it to yourself to sign up for Protel long distance service. Our in-state standard residential and business rate for Californians is 3.9 cents per minute and our interstate rate is 5.4 cents per minute. Other states have low in-state rates as well.

When you sign up for billing via the Customer Portal, you will no longer receive a paper bill, unless you request it. There is a small $1.00 monthly charge if you opt to receive a paper bill and use the Customer Portal. A paper bill is free unless you elect internet billing.

Some people complain that they would prefer to pay their long distance bill on their local phone bill. If we were to do that, we would have to pay your local carrier for that service, increasing the cost of your long distance service. If you select PowerNet Global's Call to Connect local service, then your local and local charges will appear on the same bill.

Billing Disputes

If you dispute any charge on your PowerNet Global bill, you can always call PNG Customer Service directly at 1-800-860-9495. You could also call PROTEL, however, we do not have access to any billing information, or calls you have made, nor can we issue credits. Only PNG can do that.

However, if you have a consistent problem, or one which is not getting resolved courteously, be sure to let us know and we will try to intervene on your behalf. Protel is on YOUR SIDE!
